Hey there, I’m Trisha—the chick who woke up one morning and made a random decision to open Rare Roots, a little shop in the heart of Temperance, Michigan. I embarked on this journey to create my own business because, after spending 8 fulfilling years as a stay-at-home mom, I realized that my passion for plants and cultivating their beauty was becoming something I wanted to pursue more seriously.
Like my choice of friends, I value quality over quantity. That is why the unique plants you discover here are either ones I personally grew in the my little shop or they come from a single, local source that I adore. So, no need to worry about purchasing a plant that is fresh off of a box truck after a 20-hour drive!
